The Fishing for Wishes Committee is driven by creating a positive impact on the community through hosting a successful event. Each year the Tournament has increased the total funds raised by 30%. It is our mission to continue shining a light on the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida chapter to further gain community awareness of the cause and to increase involvement in our annual tournament.
Through the volunteerism of the Fishing for Wishes committee and the support of RIPA & Associates we are able to support our local Make-A-Wish Southern Florida chapter through granting game-changing wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish Southern Florida is only able to create life-changing wish experiences with the support of the community.
Together, we can transform our community. Wishes are the cornerstone of our event mission. With clear communication and guidelines for sponsorships participants are able to know deadlines in advance and what is anticipated the day of the main event. Managing expectations helps us to attain our goal of raising funds to grant more wishes each year.
Crews and participants are recognized not only the day of the event but in the promotional, and marketing material leading up to the big day. Every sponsor’s logo is shared on the website, marketing material, promotional material, and during the kickoff welcome and raffle. We appreciate all sponsors effort to contribute to our goal of granting more wishes each year.
